What this studio stores, and how to have it removed.

Last updated 10 October 2026. Questions and requests: contact@progresscraft.com.

Who runs this

ProgressCraft Studio (studio.progresscraft.com) is an invite-only content studio, operated by Raghu Datta. Several channels use it, each run by its own creator, who invites the people who write, record, edit and publish that channel's videos. It is not a public service. A person who signs in with Google and has no channel can ask for one on the access-request page; the platform owner approves or declines each request.

Processor and controller

The studio processes data on behalf of each channel that uses it. Each channel is the controller of its own accounts, content and members, and of the comments on its own posts. Requests about a channel's data go to that channel's owner; any such request the platform receives at contact@progresscraft.com is forwarded to the channel's owner.

What the studio stores about its members

Members sign in with Google. The studio keeps the name and email address Google provides, the role a member was invited with (creator or editor), and an activity record of what they changed inside the studio (script edits, status moves, links added). Sign-in itself is handled by Clerk; the studio never sees or stores a password.

If you ask for a channel on the access-request page, the studio keeps the channel name, email address and phone number you enter, so the request can be reviewed and you can be contacted about it. If a member links studio notifications, the studio keeps the Telegram chat id or the WhatsApp number the notifications are sent to.

Each channel's own social-media tokens

To publish reels and carousels to Instagram and to reply to comments, each channel connects its own Instagram professional account and YouTube channel. Each token belongs to the channel that connected it, is encrypted by the studio itself before it is stored in the database (the database provider also encrypts the database at rest), and is never shown in the interface. It is used only for that channel's own posts and comments.

Comments on a channel's own posts

Some reels invite viewers to comment a keyword to receive a guide. To keep that promise, the studio receives comments left on a channel's own Instagram posts (through Meta's webhook and Meta's API) and reads comments on that channel's own YouTube videos. For each such comment it keeps the comment's identifier, the commenter's public username, the comment text, and what was sent back. That record exists so a person is answered once and never twice. Nothing else about a commenter is collected, no profile is built, and the record is not used for advertising or shared with anyone beyond the services listed below.

If the comment matches the keyword, the reply is a private message or a public reply containing the link that was promised. A comment that does not match may be read by an AI model to draft a reply. The channel's owner reviews that draft, and nothing is sent unless they approve it. For this, the comment text is sent to the AI providers listed below and, when tracing is turned on, to LangSmith.

Newsletter subscribers

A channel can run its own email newsletter. If you sign up, the studio keeps your email address (and your name, if you give one), where the address came from (the sign-up form, added by the channel, imported, or a store purchase), how you agreed to receive it, and the dates you signed up, confirmed and unsubscribed. You are only sent issues after you confirm through the link in the confirmation email. If you sign up on a channel's form and never confirm, your address is deleted within 15 days of your last sign-up, once the confirmation link has expired. To stop sign-up abuse, the studio briefly keeps a one-way scrambled form of your internet address, never the address itself, and deletes it within 2 days. Emails are sent through Resend, which stores your address only to deliver them. Every issue has an unsubscribe link; unsubscribing stops all further issues. Your address is never sold, never shared with other channels, and not used for advertising.

Services the studio relies on

Each of these processes data under its own terms. The studio sets no advertising cookies and runs no advertising trackers.

Data deletion

If you commented on one of a channel's posts and want your comment record removed from the studio, email contact@progresscraft.com with the post and your username. The record (username, comment text, what was sent) is deleted within 7 days and a confirmation is sent to you. Deleting your comment on Instagram or YouTube does not by itself delete the studio's record, so please ask.

If you are a member, email the same address to have your membership, sign-in identity and activity record deleted. Content you created for a channel remains that channel's.

If you signed in without an invitation, you have no access to the studio, but its sign-in provider (Clerk) keeps the name, email address and profile photo Google gave it. Email the same address and that record is deleted.

If you connected your Google Drive, disconnecting it in the studio deletes the stored Drive credential immediately. Files in your Drive are yours and are never copied out of it.

If you subscribed to a channel's newsletter, unsubscribe from any issue, or email contact@progresscraft.com to have your address deleted entirely.

If a channel leaves the studio, it can export its data and then have its workspace deleted, including every file the studio stores for it; ask the platform at contact@progresscraft.com.

A deletion request that Meta forwards on your behalf reaches the studio automatically and is answered with a confirmation code.

Changes

When the studio starts keeping anything new about a person, this page is updated in the same release and the date at the top changes.
